Reading the unnamed play
My new full-length play--which does not really have a name yet even though it kind of has a placeholder name--will be read by two extraordinary actors: Gretchen Krich and MIchael Place, on Friday, June 20th at 7:30 PM at Seattle Repertory Theatre as part of the annual Rep Writers Group Showcase. My reading will be directed by the best director on earth, Erin Kraft. Perhaps you'd like to come. There is more information here. I highly recommend attending all of the readings in the showcase, as my colleagues in the group are, frankly, much more talented than I am.
Undo in South Florida
I'm delighted to share that my first full-length play, Undo, will have its southeast premiere at the Studio at Mizner Park in Boca Raton, Florida, produced by Parade Productions. It will open January 28th, 2015 for a 5-week run. Auditions are being held April 28th. More info here.
One-Minute Plays
I have two plays in Seattle's iteration of the One-Minute Play Festival, which is happening May 10 & 11, 2014 at ACT Theatre. The plays are Juice, which Jen Moon will direct, and Fortune, which Richard Ziman will direct. More info here.
On artisting and parenting
I wrote an essay for City Arts magazine about learning to be an artist and a parent at the same time. You can read it here.
