DAY 1:
Originally from Montreal, Quebec but mostly from Seattle, Washington, Holly Arsenault (STARTING) is the award-winning author of eight full-length plays and a whole bunch of short plays, now turning her attention to screenwriting. She holds a BA in Drama from the University of Washington. www.hollyarsenault.com
Born in Estepona, Spain, Ezequiel Vigo Fernandez (STYLE) is a writer, director and producer. His post-apocalyptic drama, Silver Mist, received an overwhelmingly positive response from audiences at the 2025 Edinburgh Festival Fringe. Through his film production company, Abduco Studios, he has written and directed three short films. He holds a BSc (Hons) in Computer Science from the University of Nottingham.
Melina M. Riemersma (FEEDBACK) is a Dutch screenwriter with a BA (Hons) in Film & Media from Queen Margaret University. During her time there she wrote and starred in several short films. Her writing interests include the entertainment industry, pop culture, and surrealism.
DAY 2:
Valerie Creasy (WRITING COMEDY) is an American playwright, director, screenwriter, and producer, originally from Virginia. Her satirical murder mystery, Crime of Pass-ee-on, held a successful two-week run at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe Festival. She holds an MA (Hons) in English Language and Literature from the University of Edinburgh.
Makayla Hong (WRITING FOR VIDEO GAMES) hails from California, where she received her BFA in Screenwriting from Chapman University in 2022. After graduation, she interned on the writing staff at the game developer Pixelberry Studios. Since then, she has worked consistently as a script and manuscript reader while building a portfolio of features, teleplays, stage plays, and radio plays.
Fergal Harte (SHORT FILMS) is a British screenwriter. He graduated from Lancaster University in 2024 with a BA in Film and English Literature. At Lancaster, he also wrote, produced, and directed several short films—and acted as the script editor for many more.
